What is Microbiology

Microbiology is the branch of biology that deals with microorganisms. Microorganisms are simple organisms such as bacteria, algae, protozoa and many other organisms. There are many branches of microbiology, relating to habitats types of microorganisms and many other topics. Microbiology was coined by Louis Pasteur, a French microbiologist.
